Single Expansion Below

A single expansion bellows, also known as a single expansion joint, is a flexible piping component designed to absorb thermal expansion, vibration, and misalignment in piping systems. The single expansion bellows typically consists of a series of convolutions or folds formed from a flexible material such as metal or rubber. These convolutions allow the bellows to flex and extend in response to changes in temperature, pressure, or mechanical loads within the piping system. Unlike tied expansion bellows, single expansion bellows do not feature tie rods or hardware to restrain their movement. Instead, they rely solely on their inherent flexibility to accommodate movement.
