Female Stud Union

A female stud union, also known as a female stud coupling, is a type of fitting commonly used in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid transfer systems to connect two tubes or hoses together. This fitting consists of two main components: a female threaded end and a union nut with a male threaded end. The female threaded end of the stud union has internal threads that allow it to be screwed onto a corresponding male threaded component, such as a tube fitting, valve, or another stud union. The threads on the female end are typically designed to match the industry-standard threading specifications, such as NPT (National Pipe Thread), BSP (British Standard Pipe), or metric threads. The union nut, on the other hand, has external threads that mate with the internal threads of the female end. It is tightened onto the female end using a wrench or spanner, creating a secure and leak-tight connection between the two components.
